SC Villa to be without four key players in visit to relegation fighting UPDF

Record league champions SC Villa will aim to reclaim top place when they visit a UPDF side that is also fighting to create a gap away from the drop zone.

The army side are only six points above Blacks Power who are the current occupants of the red zone alongside Onduparaka.

Villa come into this game at the back of a disappointing 1-0 loss to Maroons at Luzira. Their hosts on the other hand held URA FC to a one all stalemate.

In the first round when the two sides met, Villa emerged on top with a 2-0 victory, there will also be an element of vengeance by the home side.

TEAM NEWS:

Combative midfielder Ivan Serubiri is ruled out of the match, and so is youngster Travis Mutyaba.

Goal keeper Martin Elungat is yet to recover from injury and Edward Masembe is another doubt.

The good news is a return to full fitness of winger David Owori who missed the previous two matches. He got injured in the defeat to Arua Hill at Wankulukuku.

Winger Seif Batte will also add some attacking impetus to the forward line as Frank Kalule is expected to find a place on the bench.

Frank Yiga made the bench against URA but was an unused substitute. He is expected to play a part in this duel.

The rest of the squad is fully available for selection as no injury news has been communicated.
