Aziz Kayondo completes move to Spanish club

Uganda Cranes left back Aziz Kayondo has completed his move to Spanish side Leganes B.

Kayondo has officially been unveiled today by the Spanish club and will be playing the club’s subsidy Leganes Pepinera.

He will be a teammate with fellow countryman Ibrahim Juma who also plays left back.

Kayondo spent last season playing for Real Monarch in USA but on loan from Czech Republic side MFK Vyškov.

Kayondo is a former Vipers left back who sprung to the scene from the St. Mary’s Kitende conveyor belt.

He starred at the 2021 U20 AFCON tournament where he was named the best left back on the tournament.

Leganes B competes in Group V of the Segunda Federación which serves as the fourth tier of the Spanish football hierarchy.
