Busiro confirms home ground for 2023 Masaza Cup tourney

The management team of defending champions Busiro Ssaza team has confirmed Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso as their home ground for 2023 Masaza Cup tournament.

During the previous editions, the Masaza Cup holders have been hosting their home games at Sentema playground.

Kabaka Kyabaggu is also the home of Uganda Premier league side Wakiso Giants.

Busiro will be managed by SC Villa assistant coach Ibrahim Kirya who replaces Simon Peter Mugerwa.

Kirya guided Buddu to the final last year before losing 2-1 to Busiro at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.

He will be assisted by Godfrey Wasswa, Michael Kabali and the goalkeeping coach is Hussein Saddam.

Meanwhile, Hon.Paul Nsubuga who has been serving as the chairperson of Busiro management team for the last seven years has been replaced by Joseph Ddamulira Kawuma.

The defending champions are in Muganzirwa group alongside five time winners Gomba, Mawokota, Ssese, Mawogola and Kabula.
