The management team of Butambala Ssaza team under the leadership of Mansoor Kabugo has confirmed their home venue for the 2023 Masaza Cup.
Butambala will host their home games at Nkookooma playgrounds for the 19th edition of the prestigious Masaza Cup competition.
This is the fourth time that Butambala is hosting at Nkookooma playground. During the 2015, 2016 and 2017 they hosted their home games at the same venue.
Last year, Butambala played their home games at Kibibi Secondary School playground.
This year under the management of Kabugo they are eyeing their maiden Championship.
Their best achievement in competition is reaching the Quarterfinal stage three times in 2015, 2016 and 2019.
Emuron Recoba is their head coach and will kickoff their campaign against Buvuma on 1st July before hosting Busujju in their first home game on 9th July.
The 2023 Masaza Cup edition will officially kickoff on Saturday, 24th June at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku with holders Busiro taking on three time winners Mawokota.
