Three more foreign based players join Cranes Camp

Uganda Cranes is currently preparing for the mouthwatering contest against Algeria scheduled for 18th June in Cameroon.

As preparations continue, three more Uganda Cranes foreign-based players joined the team.

The trio of Danish based Moses Opondo, Musa Ramadhan and Fahad Bayo joined the Cranes camp on Tuesday.

They join other foreign based players Salim Jamal, Ismail Watenga, Juma Ibrahim, Aziz Kayondo, Halid Lwaliwa, Allan Enyou and Farouk Miya who earlier joined the camp.

Milutin Sredojevic alias Micho and his charges will play Algeria on June 18th, 2023 in the Group F of the AFCON 2023 Qualification campaign before ending ending the campaign with an away fixture against Niger.

Uganda is currently tied with Tanzania in the group both on four points and must beat the North African side to stand a chance of progression.

Uganda last appeared at the continental showpiece in 2019 when they lost to Senegal at the round of 16 phase.
