Former KCCA FC head coach Morley Byekwaso has been appointed as Dusan Stojanovic’s assistant coach at SC Villa.

Byekwaso was unveiled as Stojanovic’s assistant coach at SC Villa offices in Industrial area on Tuesday.

The former KCCA FC tactician asserts that the appointment that does not degrade him but aims at learn more from a foreign coach

“I thank the management of Villa for honouring me. It’s not any easy job but our work and commitment will lead us to success.”

“Working as an assistant coach is not degrading have always wanted to work with white people to learn new things. Have worked with local coaches as assistant and so this is the best chance in my life to learn new things from a foreign coach.” Said Byekwaso.

Byekwaso is a former SC Villa player and won two league titles and CECAFA club championship. He has also previously coached at SC Victoria University, Simba FC and KCCA FC.

In 2021, he guided the National U-20 men’s team to the final of the AFCON, losing 2-0 to winners Ghana.
