NEC FC a newly promoted Uganda Premier League side have agreed terms with former Mbarara City FC head coach Hussein Mbalangu.
Swift Sports can reliably confirm Mbalangu has been offered an employment contract of three years.
He now fills the void left by Micheal Skills Lukyamuzi who stepped down after leading the side to the top tier.
Mbalangu has in the past worked with Bugoba FC, Mbarara City, The Saints, Azam FC, SC Villa Arua Hill SC and Somalian side Mogadishu City Club among others.
With Mogadishu City Club he led the team to two Somalia Premier League titles, one Somalia Cup and a Super Cup.
He also guided Arua Hill SC to the top flight and emerging champions of the FUFA Big League while unbeaten.
NEC earned top flight in their Big League debut season when they finished third with 57 points.
