Long serving midfielder Richard Wandyaka has officially left BUL FC after a period of six years.

Wandyaka who joined the Jinja based club in 2017 following a brief stint with URA FC, confirmed his departure via social media.

” After seven successful years, my time at Bul Football Club is over. We celebrated many victories and stood together in moments of defeats.” He posted on Facebook.

” Ever since I joined Bul Football Club in 2017, I was warmly welcomed by the amazing and loving fans who always supported me and made me feel at home and this has been pushing me to do what our fans need most.” He added.

” Dear Bul Football Club family, what More can I say?? You’ve been good to me throughout these seven years we’ve been together. I’m very thankful to the coaching staff, my teammates The Club management and to the amazing and loving fans who always supported me”

The experienced midfielder didn’t rule out a return to a club he called a home for the last seven seasons.

Wandyaka sprung to the topflight scene with JMC Hippos in the 2015/16 season from where caught the attention of URA FC who signed him in August 2016.

His stint however short-lived for only a season as he sought solace in his home town and joined BUL FC.

He leaves the club with a Stanbic Uganda Cup winners medal of 2022 but also the runners-up medal of 2021.
