Ugandan duo of Joshua Cheptegei and Peruth Chemutai will be in action on Friday evening at the sixth Wanda Diamond League meeting in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Cheptegei a multiple World record holder will be aiming for top spot in the 5000m race.
The long-distance global champion is taking part in his second meeting this year. In his first, he finished fourth in Italy earlier this month.
The 5000m and 10000m World record holder clocked 12:53.81 at the 4th Golden Gala, finishing behind Mohamed Katir (Spain), Yomif Kejelcha (Ethiopia) and Luis Grijalva (Guatemala).
In Lausanne, Cheptegei will line up against 10000m Olympic champion Selemon Barega and Berihu Alegawi.
He will also use this race to prepare for the forthcoming World Athletics Championship in Budapest, Hungary.
Olympic champion Peruth Chemutai will be aiming to find her mojo in the Women’s 3000m Steeplechase.
In her only Diamond League this year, Chemutai finished last in a time of 9:31.71 in Doha.
The Ugandan will line up in a field that has favourites Beatrice Chepkoech (Kenya) and Mekides Abebe (Ethiopia).
