Midfielder Ronald Ssekiganda has renewed his employment contract with 16-time Uganda Premier league champions SC Villa.

Swift Sports Uganda understands that the lanky midfielder has put pen to paper on a two year employment contract with SC Villa.

Ssekiganda’s previous three year contract at Villa was due to expire this month.

He missed the whole of last season as he was still recovering from injury.

Ssekiganda joined the 16-time league record winners from Kampala Regional side CATDA.

In 2019, he was named Masaza Cup MVP as Bulemeezi beat Busiro to lift the title that very year.

Last season, Villa came close to ending their 19 year drought without a league title, but unfortunately surrendered the title to Vipers on the final day.

The Jogoos are under the stewardship of Dusan Stojanovic who will work with Morley Byekwaso as his right hand man next season.
