Lawrence Nduga has joined FUFA Big League side Jinja North United FC on a one year contract.

Nduga returns to Uganda after a brief stint with Romanian third tier club CSO Retezatul Haţeg.

The offensive midfielder featured for Mbarara City at the start of last season before he departed for Romania during the mid-season window.

At CSO Retazatul Hateg, Nduga played alongside defender Islam Semakula, another Uganda who joined the club in the same window.

Nduga now reunites with his former Mbarara City coach Sadick Ssempigi who was recently appointed by the Jinja based club with a mission of achieving topflight promotion.

As a player, Nduga has featured for Mormenekse GBSK in Cyprus, Zambia’s Nkwazi and Botswana sides Orapa United and Sharp Shooting Stars.

Locally, he featured for the now defunct Kira Young as well as BUL FC and Soltilo Bright Stars.

He becomes the second signing of the window at Jinja North United after Amuli Mukasa who was acquired from Kiyinda Boys.
