SC Villa duo absent from preseason training

Majority of SC Villa players returned for preparations ahead of the forthcoming season on Monday.

However, attacking Midfieder Travis Mutyaba and defender Kenneth Semakula are yet to show up at the training sessions conducted by new head coach Dusan Stojanovic at East High in Ntinda.

Reliable sources reveal that the two players are of no show to the sessions on directions of their agent.

Both Mutyaba and Semakula are have a year left on their contracts at the 16 time Uganda Premier league champions.

This website also understands that Mutyaba is currently playing for Buhweju district in Ankole tournament.

Semakula joined SC Villa from BUL FC on a three year employment contract at August, 2021. He also featured for BUL FC’s City rivals Busoga United.

Mutyaba also joined Villa at the start of the 2021/22 season on a three year deal.

Meanwhile, Charles Bbaale who netted 12 league goals for SC Villa last season is also yet to appear for the club’s training sessions. His employment contract at Villa expired last month.
