URA FC have agreed terms with Busoga United attacking midfieder Laban Tibita, Swift Sports Uganda understands.
Tibita will put pen to paper on a two year employment contract at revenue collectors.
He joins URA FC as a free agent following expiration of his contract at Busoga United.
Last season, Tibita was instrumental in helping Busoga United overcome relegation.
His outstanding performances saw him scoop the Pilsner UPL Midfielder of the season he had seven goals, four assists and five player of the match awards in the league last season.
Tibita has also previously featured for Maroons FC and is a former student of Kawempe Muslim Secondary School and previously played for Edgar’s Youth in the Kampala Regional League.
The tax collectors have already unveiled teenagers Kisiriko Denis Luzige, Kisolo John Innocent, Godfrey Ssekibengo and Amis Bwangani.
Swift Sports understands goalkeeper Dennis Otim and midfielder Ivan Mayanja already signed with the club from URA FC.
