Defender Benjamin Nyakoojo leaves Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA), Swift Sports Uganda understands.
Nyakoojo is now a free agent after ending his stay at the Revenue collectors whom he joined in August 2018.
The defender has been a brilliant servant during his time at URA FC. Last season he had limited playing time due to fitness problems.
Nyakoojo joined URA FC from Vipers SC and had loan stints at Masavu Football Club and Entebbe Young.
The lanky defender also played for underage national teams, particular the Uganda Cubs (U-18) in 2015. He is a graduate of St. Mary’s Kitende school program and also played for Buwekula in the Masaza Cup.
He joins Ronald Kigongo who also left the club following expiration of his employment contract.
URA FC have also signed youngsters Kisiriko Denis Luzige, Kisolo John Innocent and Amis Bwangani in this transfer window
