Big League new entrants Kiyinda Boys have refunded the money that Jinja North paid to attacking midfielder Amuli Mukasa in sign on fees.

Swift Sports Uganda understands that Mukasa will stay at Kiyinda Boys for another season after refunding the money Jinja North had paid the player as a sign on fee.

Mukasa had recently been unveiled at Jinja North before the move fell through.

Last month while appearing on BBS TV, Mukasa denied that he hadn’t signed with any team other than Kiyinda Boys.

“I am humbled to be joining Jinja North United Football Club. Football is a job that needs hard-working and team-work. Together with my new family members, we shall achieve the ultimate task of promoting the club to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.”

“My dream has always been playing for SC Villa and I believe one day I will play for them.”

Show host Francis Ssebunya reminded him that he has just signed for Jinja North but the 2022 Masaza Cup top scorer quickly told him that,

“Whereas there was some negotiations with Jinja North FC, we did not conclude on anything and I am looking forward to other deals and Villa is my priority.” Said Mukasa

Kiyinda Boys gained Big League status under the stewardship of Simon Dungu alias Dunga.
