Ssekabembe Kiberu dropped as Kabaka reshuffles cabinet

His Majesty the Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II has reshuffled the Buganda Kingdom cabinet.

The reshuffle saw Henry Ssekabembe Kiberu who has been Minister for Youth, Sports and Recreation being dropped from the cabinet.

Ssekabembe has been in the position since 2013 and will be replaced by Robert Sserwanga.

The outgoing minister Ssekabembe has done a tremendous role towards the development of both the Masaza Cup and Bika Bya’baganda Football and Netball competitions as well as the Royal Regatta.

Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga has been maintained as the Katikkiro with Twaha Kaawaase and Robert Waggwa Nsibirwa as the first and second deputy premiers respectively.

“I would like to congratulate those who have joined us in serving the Kingdom. I also congratulate those that have been rewarded with full ministerial posts and I wish them good luck.”

Said Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga.
