Mbarara City have unveiled defender Magumda Bakali as their latest signing.
Magumda joins the Ankole Lions on a one year employment contract from Gaddafi FC.
“We can confirm the signing of central defender Bakali Magumda from Gaddafi FC on a one-year deal.” Stated Mbarara
The move sees Magumda join his former head coach at Gaddafi FC Wasswa Bbosa and teammate Yunus Sibira.
He also joins other new recruits at the Ankole Lions who are Joseph Akandwanaho and Pius Kaggwa from Express FC and UPDF FC respectively.
Mbarara City are among the 14 clubs that were cleared by the FUFA Licensing Committee to take part in forthcoming Uganda Premier league season.
They will however host their games at Bombo Barracks Stadium since home ground Kyakyeka is still under rennovation.
