St.Mary’s Boarding Secondary School Kitende clinched the 2023 FEASSSA Boys’ football title after beating debutants Amus College 4-2 in penalties on Sunday.
The two sides had played out to a 1-1 stalemate in normal time and the winner was to be determined on penalties.
Fazil Tumwine had given the record competition winners an early lead before Allan Oyirwoth levelled matters for Amus.
Kitende prevailed in penalties, 4-2 to clinch their 15 title.
Kibuli SS smiled with a bronze medal after overcoming St.Henry’s College Kitovu 2-1 in the third place playoff.
Meanwhile, Kawempe Muslim won the girls’ title after beating Kenya’s Weyita Girls 2-0 in the final.
St.Noa Girls School Zzana finished third following their 4-0 win over Amus College.
