The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has announced that they have parted ways with Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin Sredojevic Micho.
Following Uganda’s failue to qualify for the second successive AFCON tournament, it was imminent that Micho’s job was on the line.
“Today Thursday 14th September 2023 FUFA and Mr Milutin Sredojevic agreed to mutually end the existing empowerment contract between the two parties.”
“FUFA appreciates all efforts and commitment by Mr Milutin during his period as Head coach of Uganda Cranes.”
The development comes only one week after Uganda failing to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations despite defeating Niger 2-0 in their last group stage game.
Micho had left Uganda in 2017 and was reappointed as Uganda Cranes head coach in 2021.
