MDFA The 3rd Mukono District Football Associations (MDFA) General Assembly has successfully been held at Katosi Resort Hotel today Friday 15th September.
MDFA chairman Yusuf Mahad Kivumbi together with the General Secretary Wilberforce Ssemwogerere welcome the club representatives, delegates and other dignitaries.
The Buganda Region Football Associations (BRFA) vice chairman Abu Zikusooka, the General Secretary Brian Ssejemba, Zone 1 chairman Daniel Yenka and Bernard Bainamani who is the chairman MDFA Displinary Committee were in attendance .
The General Assembly confirmed an estimated budget of 11,317,600 to be used by the DFA in the 2023/24 season.
Kivumbi appreciated the club representatives for continuously investing in Football,
“No doubt achieved a lot a sponsor inclusive no doubt on how other DFA’s continue to inquire from us how we have managed to achieve that.”
“But we can not achieve all that minus you clubs so I appreciate you for continuously investing in football special appreciation to BRFA and FUFA for the guidance.”
Zikusooka called kindly requested the club’s to make sure that they attend all the possible courses organised,
“I advise all club’s to make sure that you go for the short courses organised the few that have acquired knowledge will help pass on the message to other let’s work hand in hand to fight hooliganism in the beautiful game.”
Ssejjemba emphasised the issue of helping the the DFA’s to improve football from playing for fun to business,
“Buganda Region’s target is to improve on how football is played, it should be for business not fun.”
Bainamani assured the club on how the Displinary Committee has always been fair and will always,
“The Displinary Committee has always been fair in all its judgements and will continue to be.”
Bainamani also represented the FUFA President Eng Moses Magogo.
Club registration, FUFA, donations and partnerships are some of the ways MDFA is going to use to raise funds to cover their estimated budget.
