Joseph Kayondo and Johnson Ssenyonga traded magnificent goals as Mawokota and Bulemeezi drew 1-1 in the first leg of their Masaza Cup semi-final at Buwama on Sunday.
Mawokota had a bright start to the game and in the 4th minute Kayondo fired them into the lead.
The visitors however levelled matters with three minutes to halftime breather through Ssenyonga’s stunning strike to silence Mawokota faithfuls.
In the second half, Mawokota pushed for the second goal but couldn’t breakdown a resilient Bulemeezi defence despite creating numerous scoring chances.
The two sides will be optimistic about the prospect of completing the job at the Kasana Playground in Luweero on Independence day.
