KCCA FC are set to appoint Jackson Magera as their interim head coach.
On Monday, the KCCA FC board agreed to part ways with Portuguese tactician Sergio Traguil.
The 13 time Uganda Premier league champions are currently discussing compensation fee for the Portuguese tactician.
Traguil’s job has been under threat following the club’s worst start to the league campaign.
Under Traguil, KCCA have lost their opening four games to BUL FC, Maroons FC, Express FC and most recently against newly promoted Kitara FC.
The Portuguese replaced Jackson Mayanja who served as the club interim head coach following the departure of Morley Byekwaso last season.
They also exited the CAF Confederation Cup in the final preliminary round against Libyan side Abu Salem.
According to New Vision, the club board has decided to name Magera as their interim head coach.
Magera has been serving as the KCCA FC first team coach and last season was in charge of SC Villa.
KCCA FC who are pointless next host NEC FC on Thursday evening at Lugogo.
