The nominees for the Pilsner Uganda Premier league monthly awards for the joint months of September and October have been revealed.
Kitara FC striker Denis Omedi will battle with Maroons FC forward Fred Amaku and Alex Kitata of BUL FC for player of the month. The three players scored three goals.
Omedi scored against SC Villa, KCCA FC and Wakiso Giants.
Amaku goals came against SC Villa and KCCA FC while Kitata has also been in brilliant form scoring as well as assisting.
Meanwhile, Abbey Kikomeko of BUL FC, Hussein Mbalangu (NEC) and Brian Ssenyondo (Kitara) are the nominees for the joint months.
Kikomeko’s BUL FC won their opening five games against Bright Stars, KCCA FC, Arua Hill, Maroons FC and SC Villa and are currently second on 15 points.
Kitara currently top of the league table also managed five wins against SC Villa, UPDF FC, Gaddafi FC, KCCA FC and Wakiso Giants.
Mbalangu’s NEC won four games out of five against Mbarara City, Busoga United, UPDF FC and KCCA FC. Their only loss came against SC Villa.
The winners are rewarded with a cash Prize worthy Shs1M each and winners accolade.
