Vipers SC smiled to maximum points with a 2-1 come back win over Kitara FC in the Uganda Premier league game on Thursday.
Bright Anukani netted in either half as Vipers cut the gap on leaders BUL FC.
Kitara were however denied a late equalizer when assistant Referee Juma Osire cancelled Dudu Ramadhan’s goal for offside.

Replays however showed that Dudu was onside when he headed in the leveller.

Vipers levelled matters through Anukani’s well converted penalty after a foul on Yunus Sentamu.
Early in the second period, Anukani calmly made it 2-1 off a perfect assist from substitute Allan Okello.
In added time, Dudu thought he had restored parity but was denied by Osire’s flag.
The Venoms held on to maximum points and stay second on the log with 23 points, two adrift of leaders BUL FC while Kitara are third with 19 points.
