Zzinda, Kiberu to join Ayiekoh at Kampala Queens

FUFA Women Super League reigning Champions Kampala Queens FC are set to confirm the appointment of Charles Ayiekoh as their new head coach.

Ayiekoh will replace Charles Ssenyange alias Kadidi who was sacked by the club last week.

Swift Sports Uganda understands that Ayiekoh will work with Ali Zzinda as his first assistant and Mubarak Kiberu will serve as the goalkeepers’ coach.

Zzinda has previously served as head coach at She Corporate and fitness coach at URA FC.

Kiberu on the other hand has served as goalkeeping coach at SC Villa, Express FC, URA FC, Uganda U-17 team among others.

The former shot stopper at Kinyara FC, Water FC and Mutundwe Lions has also worked as a coach at Bazar Holdings and Mutundwe Lions, Mmamba Kakoboza, Mawogola and Ssingo and Masaza Cup tournament among others.

Meanwhile, former Uganda Cranes midfielder Tonny Mawejje will remain part of the technical team in the capacity of second assistant.

The Queens of Soccer will return to action on 3rd January at home against Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC.
