Defender Derrick Ngoobi is on the verge of leaving Express FC
Swift Sports understands that the point sized defender and the Wankulukuku based side have agreed to terminate his contract which is soon expiring.
Ngoobi is a versatile player who can ably play as a center back as well as a right back.
He has previously played for Kikyusa FC, Luweero United, Soltilo Bright Stars and Bulemeezi in the Masaza Cup tournament.
Midfielder Emmanuel Wasswa and captain Arthur Boca Kiggundu have also left Express FC.
Express FC are in advanced talks to sign Samson Kasozi from Kitara FC.
They finished the first round in the sixth position with 25 points from 15 games.
