NEC FC have completed the signing of roving right-back Atendele Geriga from Arua Hill, Swift Sports reliably understands.
Geriga has signed a contract of two years with the Hussein Mbalangu coached side.
He becomes the second player to leave Arua Hill for NEC FC after midfielder Gadaffi Wahab who also signed a two year contract.
The South Sudan international is expected to provide more steel on the team’s right hand side in the second round.
Geriga is expected provide health competition to his fellow South Sudanese teammate Joseph Dhata Lujang in the right wing back position.
NEC FC also becomes Geriga’s fourth team in the IPL having previously played for Onduparaka, Wakiso Giants and lately Arua Hill.
NEC already signed goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan, defender Ibrahim Kiyemba and Wahab in the ongoing mid-season transfer window.
