Augustine Nsumba has agreed terms to become the new assistant coach of Express FC, Swift Sports reliably understands.
Nsumba is now joining the Red Eagles as Alex Isabirye’s immediate assistant but will also serve as the head coach for the Express Junior Team.
His appointment comes after Isabirye signed a new contract as Express FC coach after his initial short term contract had expired.
Nsumba has previously coached at Lugazi FC, URA FC, Kyetume FC and Kyaggwe in the Masaza Cup tournament.
As a player Nsumba featured for IBV in Iceland, URA FC, SC Villa and BUL FC before hanging his boots.
Isabirye and Nsumba are expected to embark on player recruitment as a number of players are set for departure from the club.
Express FC collected 25 points in the first round of the Uganda Premier League which put them in the 6th position.
