Seven time Uganda Premier league champions Express FC have released five players ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Seif Batte, Denis Otim, Martin Ssenkooto, Jonathan Agoucha and Ashraf Mbazira.
The development was confirmed in statement from the Wankulukuku based side.
Batte joined the Red Eagles in July last year after being released by SC Villa.
Ssenkooto also formerly at SC Villa and UPDF FC joined Express FC in August last year on a one year employment contract.
The custodian leaves after just four months at the Alex Isabirye coached side.
The released players join Arthur Kiggundu and, Isma Kawawulo and Derrick Ngoobi who also parted ways with the club.
Kiggundu joined Kitara FC while Emmanuel Wasswa returned to KCCA FC after only six months of his loan spell at Wankulukuku.
