She Cranes head coach Fred Mugerwa has expressed his delight upon the team’s performances in the United Kingdom.
The She Cranes, had mixed results at their adventure in England and Wales for the Vitality Netball Nations Cup and Test Series respectively.
During a press briefing held on Tuesday at Nob View hotel in Ntinda, Mugerwa hailed his troops for their performances in the UK
“We played seven games and won two. I believe we could have won more but above I am pleased with the team’s performances the United Kingdom. The tournament has given us experience and we hope to build on that in the coming engagements.”
Mugerwa believes his technical staff will do the needful to correct their mistakes
“We shall work together with my technical team to correct our mistakes and I believe we shall be more competitive in the next tournaments.” Said Mugerwa
Mugerwa also revealed that the loss against Wales was the most painful one since his side is ranked highly in the World Netball rankings.
