Byekwaso names Hippos provisional Squad for All Africa Games

Uganda Hippos (U-20) head Coach Morley Byekwaso Ochama has named a provisional squad of 39 players to prepare for the 2023 All Africa Games.

The team will on Thursday enter a residential training camp at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.

Travis Mutyaba who recently completed a move to Egyptian side Zamalek and Titus Ssematimba who joined UAE club Al Dahra on loan from Wakiso Giants headline the summoned team.

Express FC forward Alpha Ssali and SC Villa’s Patrick Jonah Kakande are also part of the provisional Squad.

Uganda is in Group B alongside Nigeria, South Sudan, Senegal and Tunisia.

The tournament will take place between 7th -24th March 2024 in Accra, Ghana.
