The FUFA Competitions Department has released the fixtures for the second round of the 2023/24 FUFA Big League.
The second round will officially kick off on 21st February 2024.
Ndejje University who had earlier confirmed that they were to dissolve their football team have had their team included in the second round fixtures.
Financial woes and poor performances were some of the reasons that were given on surprising decision.
Ndejje University FC also failed to honour their Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 64 Fixture against Iganga FC.
However in the released second round fixtures, Ndejje University FC will kickoff their second round campaign against Kaaro Karungi FC at Arena of Vision on Saturday, 24th February.
Police FC who are under the stewardship of Simon Mugerwa ended the first round top of the FUFA Big League table with 31 points.
Richard Makumbi’s Lugazi FC and Asaph Mwebaze’s Mbale Heroes FC were second and third with 29 points and 27 points respectively.
Police FC will begin the second round campaign away to second-placed Lugazi FC at Lugazi Stadium on Sunday 25th February.
Third-placed Mbale Heroes FC battle Young Elephants FC while Blacks Power FC will entertain Onduparaka FC in the opening of the second round.
