Busoga United 1-1 Gaddafi FC

There was nothing to separate relegation strugglers Busoga United and Gaddafi FC as both sides settled for a 1-1 draw at the Technical Center in Njeru.

Ronald Bithum Nsumbiano and Emmanuel Ajo scored for both sides during the first half of the game.

Bithum gave Gaddafi the lead in the 30th minute with a close range header following a brilliant exchange of passes on the left hand side of attack.

Ajo equalized with a nice lob following Isaac Doka Mweru’s exquisite assist in the 38th minute.

Gaddafi were dealt huge blow as midfielder David Bagoole “Tongo Po” went off limping in the first half and Lawrence Kambugu replaced him.

Gaddafi Defender Bashir Asiku had his header hit the cross from a well delivered corner kick while Frank Mulimi and Bithum had glorious chances of finding a winner but couldn’t find target.

Busoga came close through Doka Mweru and Ajo in the early and late second half respectively but goalkeeper Andrew Ssekandi made brilliant saves to deny them.
