Match day 12 of the betPawa Futsal Super League concluded on Friday evening at the Old Kampala Futsal Arena.

Leaders Park FC dropped Points while Mengo held on to stun Lubaga Grameen.

Park came into the contest aiming to make it 11 out of 12 but could only settle for a 5-all draw with Nansana ASKA side.

Sinani Kiyaga gave ASKA an early lead before Samuel Kalyango equalized for Park from the spot. Kiyaga responded to restore ASKA’s lead. Ali Miti converted a penalty just before the break, leaving Park trailing 3-1.

After the recess, Park returned stronger, scoring four unanswered goals to lead 5-3. However, they failed to hold on, conceding two late goals from Miti and Kiyaga as the game ended in a 5-all draw.

Park remains top of the table standings with 33 points from 12 games and five above second placed FC Luzira, while ASKA is fifth with 22 points.

Meanwhile, in other Friday games, Majara Kenneth’s five goals helped Kisugu FC to a 7-all draw against Kisenyi FC, with Ategeka Marvin, Dahir Ahmed, and Abdulkarim Abdullahi each scoring twice for Kisenyi.

Mengo City shocked Lubaga Grameen 6-3, with Male Antony scoring a hat-trick and a brace from Farouk Tumwesigye. William Sseguya’s was also on the score sheet with a well converted penalty goal.

Abdinasir Ahmed scored the two goals for Lubaga Grameen.

The 2023/24 betPawa Futsal Super League will resume next week with matchday 13 action at the Old Kampala Futsal Arena from Thursday, March 7th, to Friday, March 8th.
