Uganda Cranes midfielder Khalid Aucho has undergone a minor knee surgery which will keep him out of action for about three weeks.
Aucho got injured during Yanga’s 1-0 defeat to Al Ahly last Friday in the CAF Champions League in Cairo.
The Tanzanian champions have today confirmed that Aucho will miss a number of games after undergoing surgery.
He played an instrumental role in all the six group games as Yanga booked a place in the CAF Champions League quarter finals for the first time ever.
However, despite his starring role, Aucho is now a doubt for the quarter finals which will start with first legs at the end of this month.
