The organisers of the Pilsner Uganda Premier League monthly awards have announced the player and coach of the month of February.
Kitara FC duo of Denis Omedi and head coach Brian Ssenyondo clinched the February player and coach of February respectively.
The pair was rewarded at the event that was held at Kati Kati Restaurant in Lugogo on Friday morning.
Omedi was in fine form during the month of February scoring five and one assist in the four games he played for the Royals.
He beat SC Villa’s Patrick Jonah Kakande who had an impressive month and Express FC’s Isaac Wagoina to the gong.
His coach Ssenyondo clinched the coach of the month after guiding Kitara to three wins and a draw in the four games they played in February.
Ssenyondo beat URA FC’s David Obua and Hussein Mbalangu of NEC FC to the accolade.
The pair was rewarded with a winners accolade and Shs1M each courtesy of awards main sponsors Pilsner.
