Nkima clan management has named the Football and Netball coaches for the forthcoming Bika Bya Baganda competitions.
Kilywa Mato has been appointed as the head coach of the Nkima clan football team.
He will be supported by Francis Mugerwa and Peter Katumba as they aim to clinch the prestigious Bika football Shield for a fourth time in history.
Nkima Clan last won the football competition in 2018 when they beat Mpindi 1-0 in Butambala. They are also previously winners in 1962 and 1993.
Meanwhile, Fred Mugerwa will handle the Netball team with Nannyunja Shadia working as the team Manager.
The Nkima clan management committee that has headed by Mathias Jumba believe the named coaches will guide Nkima back to glory days this year.
In the same way, Nkima clan leaders have called upon the clan members to attend fundraising event scheduled for Friday, 19th April at Hotel Triangle in Kampala. The money that will be collected from the event will be used to facilitate their football and Netball teams.
The Bika Netball competition will officially start on Saturday, 20th April and end on the opening day of the Bika Football tournament due on 27th April at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.
