BUL stay in pole position with late victory

BUL FC needed a late Lawrence Tezikya strike to overcome Gaddafi FC 1-0 at Njeru Technical centre on Saturday.

Tezikya struck for the Eastern Giants in the 83rd minute to send the home fans into elation.

Before Tezikya’s goal, Gaddafi Goalkeeper Abdu Magada har denied BUL FC on several occasions.

Ibrahim Orit also had a goal disallowed for offside while Martin Aprem hit the Woodwork.

BUL move a step closer to clinching their maiden league title and victories over Mbarara City and Busoga will seal the deal for Abbey Kikomeko coached side.

Kikomeko’s men lead the standings with 52 points, one above second and third placed Kitara FC and SC Villa.
