SC Villa welcome URA FC on Tuesday with vastly separate agendas for both sides at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.
SC Villa are in a must win situation if they are to go into the final day with hope of ending the 20 year drought without a league title.
Last season, it was the tax collectors who denied SC Villa a record extending 17th league title with a 1-0 win at the same venue on the final day, courtesy of Fesali Najib sole goal.
Villa needed to win by then to clinch the title but faltered this time victory only sees them take BUL FC, Kitara to the line.
SC Villa have not folded, there is a spine and they need two more wins along with a prayer to clinch the title for the first time since 2004.
SC have not registered victory against the tax collectors since their 3-0 win in 2018. Since then, they have lost 5 league games to URA and 6 have ended in stalemates.
The Jogoos come into this game after a comfortable 2-0 win over UPDF FC while URA FC beat KCCA FC 1-0 in their previous game.
Dusan Stojanovic’s men are third with 51 points, one behind leaders and victory today can see them move to the summit in case BUL FC and Kitara fail to win against Mbarara City and Soltilo Bright Stars respectively.
For Stojanovic a win is precious whereas interim URA FC coach Mukasa Kiyenje will be seeking to create an impression of repair.
