Midfielder Paul Mucureezi has confirmed his departure from Kitara Football Club.
Mucureezi used his official social media platforms to confirm his departure through a video as he cherished the moments shared with the Hoima based entity,
“To you guys the fans of Kitara Football Club, its been an amazing journey of one and a half years with you the atmosphere at Kitara was so amazing plus the moments we share together.”

“I am so humbled to have played for the mighty Club, Kitara will always be at my heart and will always be loved by my family and me and the club will always be home.”
He further called upon the fans to storm Wankulukuku in large numbers as Kitara takes on NEC in the fans of the Stanbic Uganda Cup,
“Let’s all be their at Wankulukuku Stadium on the 25th-May as we make history together of being the Stanbic Uganda Cup champions.”
Mucureezi was part of the team that lead Kitara FC back to the top flight, he was instrumental in the recently concluded season as they finished fourth in with 56 points.
Kitara FC will face off with NEC FC at Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku at the finals of the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
Both sides will be featuring in their maiden Final while it will be a sixth in total for Mucureezi.
He has previously played for KCCA FC, Vipers SC and Mbarara City FC.
