Uganda Premier league side NEC FC have agreed terms with URA FC forward Viane Ssekajugo.
Ssekajugo’s employment contract at URA FC expired this month and will join NEC as free agent this transfer window.
At NEC FC, Ssekajugo will provide competition and help improve the NEC FC frontline since he comes with vast experience having featured for a number of clubs in Ugandan football.
Ssekajugo has previously featured for Jinja Municipal Council, Masaka Local Council, Onduparaka FC, Wakiso Giants and lately URA FC.
He captained Ngabi Nsamba football team to the 2024 Bika Football competition triumph, scoring the only goal against Mpindi in the final.
During their debut season in the Uganda Premier league, NEC FC finished sixth on the table and also reached the Stanbic Uganda Cup Final, losing to Kitara FC.
