Algeria will be without their assistant captain Yacine Brahimi for their World Cup qualifier against Uganda Cranes on Monday, 10th June under the floodlights of Mandela National Stadium in Namboole.
Brahimi who features for Al Gharafa in Qatar will miss the Group G contest of the World Cup qualifier against Paul Put’s troops due to injury he sustained in Algeria’s 2-1 defeat against Guinea.
The forward however travelled with the team to Uganda.
The Algerian national side will also be without their captain Riyad Mahrez, Borussia Dortmund left back Rami Bensabaini, Youcef Belaili and Islam Slimani who were excluded from their squad for games against Guinea and Uganda.
Meanwhile, Algeria touched down in Uganda ahead of the epic contest on Monday.
Algeria, Uganda along with Guinea and Mozambique are all on six points in Group G.
