NEC have officially completed the signing of Busoga United striker Emmanuel Ajo.
As earlier reported by this website Ajo joins NEC FC on a three year employment contract.
Uganda Premier league champions SC Villa and Vipers SC were also interested in the striker’s signature.
Ajo had an impressive breakthrough season with Busoga United, scoring 9 league goals and three assists during the horrendous 2023/24 season.
Ajo joined Busoga United at the start of the recently concluded season from 4th tier side Kakira FC having scored 17 goals and provided six assists in the 14 games he played.
Meanwhile, NEC FC have already agreed terms with FUFA Big League top scorer Dickson Niwamanya, veteran midfielder Muzamir Mutyaba and Viane Ssekajugo.
Forward Cromwell Rwothomio also extended his employment contract at the Lugogo based side for another three years.
Under the stewardship of Hussein Mbalangu, NEC FC finished sixth on the Uganda Premier league table with 48 points and were runners up in the Stanbic Uganda Cup last term.
