Zimbabwe Premier League side Yadah FC are set to sign goalkeeper Mathias Kigonya, Swift Sports understands.

Kigonya is currently a free agent after the expiry of his contract with Zambian side Trident FC.

He is reportedly in Zimbabwe to finalize the imminent transfer that will also make him a teammate of former Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs forward Khama Billiat.

It should be noted that Billiat joined Yadah FC in February this year as a free agent after his 14-year spell in South Africa.

Locally, Kigonya featured for Soana FC and Soltilo Bright Stars in the Uganda Premier League before transferring to Sofapaka in 2016.

Yadah FC was formed in 2013, 13 years ago and host league games at the Heart Stadium in Harare.
