Ugandan youngster Nathan Asiimwe is on English Football League championship side Stoke City FC’s radar this transfer window.
According to Nerve Africa, Stoke City want to sign the Asiimwe who plays as a defender on loan from English League one side Charlton Athletic.
In case the deal materializes, Stoke City will cover part of the player’s salary and both clubs are reportedly confident of sealing the deal.
The Ugandan has been at Charlton Athletic since 2017 when he joined the club at the age of 12. He made his debut with the League One side last year in May against Cheltenham Town.


Asiimwe who is yet to feature for the Uganda national senior team made 23 appearances across all competitions for Charlton last season.
It should be remembered that Asiimwe was summoned by Uganda Cranes head coach Paul Put during the international friendly matches against Comoros and Ghana that were played in March this year in Morocco.
