Lugazi appoint Oliver Mbekeka as assistant coach

Newly promoted UPL side Lugazi FC have officially confirmed the appointment of Oliver Mbekeka.

Mbekeka’s appointment as the assistant head coach was confirmed through the club’s official social media platforms,

“We are thrilled to announce that Oliver Mbekeka has joined Lugazi FC as an Assistant Coach! With a wealth of experience and a passion for the game, Oliver is set to bring a new level of expertise and energy to our coaching staff.”

She has previously worked with Lady Doves FC, the Uganda Women’s U20 plus the Crested Cranes.

Lugazi FC will be coached by former Mbarara City head coach Sadick Sempigi.

Yusuf Ssaka, Denis Lubowa, Emmanuel Obua and Nelson Mandela are the new signings previously confirmed by the newly promoted side.

Defender Paul Wasswa was awarded a new employment contract of two years.
