Newcomers Mbale Heroes sign another former Maroons player

New league entrants Mbale Heroes have completed the signing of right back Sula Mpanga, Swift Sports understands.

Mpanga has penned an employment contract of one year with the Mbale based club.

He has been a free agent after his contract with Maroons FC expired at the end of last season.

Mpanga is a former Vipers Junior Team player who previously played for Gaddafi FC on loan from Vipers before joining Maroons in 2022.

He is also a former player of The Cubs and The Hippos which are the national U17 and U20 teams respectively.

As reported by this website, Mbale Heroes signed former Vipers forward Umar Kyebatala as a free agent from Maroons FC.

He joins the growing list of players who have left Maroons to join other Uganda Premier League clubs in this ongoing transfer window.

Others are; Hannington Sebwalunyo, Isaac Kajubi Mpagi, Abraham Tusubira, Fred Amaku, Patrick Bayiga, Jacob Okao, David Ndihabwe and Kyebatala.
