CAF has appointed youthful referee Pierre Ghislain Atcho to oversee the upcoming AFCON Qualifier between Uganda and Algeria to be held in Cameroon.

The Group F encounter will be played at the Japoma Stadium in Douala Cameroon on June 18th.

Ghislain Atcho is a 30 year old highly rated referee who was recently in charge of this year’s CHAN final between Senegal and Algeria.

Tanguy Patrice Mebiame also from Gabon will be the fourth official.

Uganda will be targeting for nothing but a win against an already qualified Algeria but away from home.

The Micho coached team currently has four points, same as Tanzania from four games played while Niger is also in contention with three points.
