Uganda’s CAF Confederation Cup representatives will face off with Libyan side Al Hilal SC Benghazi in the first preliminary round.
The Uganda Cup winners will first host the first leg at Mandela National Stadium in Namboole before travelling to Libya for the second round.
Kitara’s first game at Namboole will be on August 3rd against KCCA FC in the FUFA Super 8 before their first leg meeting with A-Hilal Benghazi between 16-18 August.
A-Hilal Benghazi is a Libyan professional association football club based in Benghazi and competes in the Libyan Premier League.
The club was founded 72 years ago and host their games at Ground Martyrs of February Stadium, Benina, Libya that has a Capacity of 10,550.
Brian Ssenyondo coached side has been busy this transfer window with the acquisition of former Maroons FC duo of David Ndihabwe and Fred Amaku, Ronald Otti, Wakiso Giants duo Marvin Nyanzi and Titus Ssematimba among others.
