Uganda Cranes defender Bevis Mugabi agrees terms with Cyprus First Division side

Uganda Cranes defender Bevis Mugabi has agreed terms with Cyprus First Division side Anorthosis Famagusta FC.

Mugabi is currently a free agent following expiration of his contract at Scottish Premiership side Motherwell FC.

Mugabi has already agreed personal terms to joining the Cyprus outfit this transfer window pending medical examination.

Last season, Mugabi had 32 league appearances for Motherwell and also featured six times in the domestic competitions.

During his four years at Motherwell, Mugabi made a total of 125 appearances for the club he joined in September 2019 from Yeovil Town.

Mugabi also having scored seven goals for the club during that time.

Besides Motherwell, Mugabi has also previously featured for English sides Yeovil Town in the English Football League Two and Southampton U-21 team.
